The Apploading Company has been selected as one of the 6 start - ups that are candidates to participate in the acceleration and softlanding program of the Links Up project
The 6 finalist companies that will compete in the eHealth Summer University of Castres have already been selected to access the acceleration and softlanding program of the European project. The eHealth Summer University of Castres is an event aimed at actors in the health sector related to technological innovation. It will gather more than 900 participants, in a period from July 3 to 5 of this year, in order to discuss the uses of ICT in the field of health and well-being.
The Links Up partners - ACCIÓ, Castres - MAZAMET Technopole, CIEBI - BIC, the Euroregion, FUEM and the BIT Foundation, have selected 6 companies that are:
- Apploading (FBIT).
- Paddle in Spain (Acció).
- UpHill (CIEBI/BIC).
- Medexprim (CMT i AECT).
- La Mochila (CMT i AECT).
- Cella Medical solutions (FUERM).
These 6 selected companies will assist on July 5 in Castres in the framework of the eHealth Summer University to the workshop "Go to market pitch training sessions". In this workshop, the companies will participate in a training and coaching session where they can pitch and receive feedback, advice and probably, business opportunities or financing of a talent pool of experts.
Of the 6 start-ups, 2 will be selected, one corresponding to the e-tourism sector and the other from the e-health sector. These two companies will obtain the benefits of the acceleration and softlanding programs of the Links Up project.
The acceleration program is a customized action plan for 6 months, support services for innovation and collaboration with companies and recognized corporations. The softlanding program, consists in a business trip for 5 days to other regions of the SUDOE area (Spain, Portugal and southwestern France).
The main purpose of the European Links Up project is to improve the competitiveness of emerging companies in the e-tourism and e-health sectors of the SUDOE territory. For this reason, it offers them support in financing, the connection of products with the market and the professionalization of companies by developing an ecosystem based on sector specialization.
. Finally, the Interreg Sudoe Program supports regional development in south-western Europe by financing transnational projects through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Mentalcheck, is the name of the selected project of the Apploading start – up.
Apploading is a Mallorcan company, directed by Massimo De Faveri and based in the ParcBit. Mentalcheck is a platform that gives access to a web tool to assess the psychological health status of patients, through behavioral records in real time. Therefore, the ICT - Health application provides a communication channel between professionals and researchers in mental health and their patients through mobile devices.
